Just as I consider the next few years to be a process of becoming, this blog is a constant work in progress. I do not yet have a defined theme; for the time being, my blog serves as a point of reflection, learning, and connecting.

Officially, I am a college student majoring in Public Policy Analysis with a minor in Urban Studies and Planning.  Most of my interests and activities fall well beyond the scope of academia, though, and include a wide range of topics: marketing, sustainability, youth advocacy, psychology, economics, entrepreneurship, literature, social media, and more.

My delicious profile probably does a better job representing my interests than I could capture in a paragraph. I appreciate any and all articles, websites, or book recomendations that you care to share with me.

Feel free to contact me at glenn.mclaurin(at)gmail.com or follow me on Twitter. Building relationships with fellow bloggers has been one of the unexpected joys of running this site; with regards to Twitter, however, I make no promises about a steady stream of 140-character bits of insightfulness.

Is the banner a picture from your own collection?

Indeed. Down at the beach over Christmas break, I was toying with my new camera — this heavily cropped image really looks a lot better than the full size. Go figure. Thanks for noticing!

Awesome! It has that “NC-esque” beach look.

“Mediocrity, homogeneity, and mundanity are easy – I enjoy being challenged.” Same here. I hope you make a post about this topic sometime. I want to hear your thoughts on why this is true for so many of us.

Thanks for your insightful comments on my blog!

You don’t have an e-mail address listed on your blog–is that on purpose?

Thank you for your comment on my blog!

Its great that you’re also exploring the world of writing and expression. “Fast Approaching Conflict” shows how well read you are. Have you ever thought of included some of your favorite books, goals, or accomplishments on “the rundown” page?
